This page explains what information Clean & Breezy collects when you use this website, contact us, or book with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

Who we are
Clean & Breezy is a dog grooming salon and self-service dog wash at 5525 Merle Hay Road #180, Johnston, IA 50131. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Clean & Breezy.

What we collect
- Messages you send us. Our contact form asks for your name, email, phone number and message. The form saves your message on our website and sends a copy to our email.
- Appointments and payments. Grooming and wash appointments, gift cards and Suds Club memberships are handled by Square, our booking and payment provider. Square collects what it needs to book and charge you, such as your name, contact details, your dog's details and your card. We see your appointment details; we never see your full card number.
- Vaccination records. When you email us your dog's vaccination records, we keep them so we can confirm your dog is safe to groom.
- Calls and emails. If you call or email us, we keep what you tell us for as long as we need it to help you.
- Basic visit records. Like every website, ours runs on a web server that keeps short technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you opened. They are used to keep the site secure and working.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
- This website doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies. Our fonts load from our own website, not from an outside service.
- We don't send marketing emails.
If we add analytics or anything that uses cookies, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

- To book, groom and wash your dog, and to remind you about appointments
- To keep every dog in our care safe, including checking vaccinations
- To take payments and keep the business records the law requires
- To keep this website secure
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Square for booking, payments, gift cards and Suds Club memberships (Square's privacy notice (opens in a new tab))
- Google, which provides our email (Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab))
- Our website host, which stores this website and its contact form messages
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or animals.
Links to other websites
Some links on this site go to other companies: Square for booking and payment, Google Maps and Google reviews, and our Facebook and Instagram pages. When you follow those links, that company's privacy policy applies, not ours.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires for business and tax records. Contact form messages are stored in our website's database until we delete them; if you'd like yours deleted, just ask.
This website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and only our team can see contact form messages. Card details stay with Square.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Call (515) 608-4808 or email cleanandbreezydogwash@gmail.com and we'll take care of it. Some records, such as payment and tax records, we have to keep by law; we'll tell you if that applies.
To change what Square holds, such as a saved card, you can also contact Square directly.
Children's privacy
This website is meant for adults booking care for their dogs. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
