How a self-service wash works
Into the tub
Guide your dog up the ramp and into the tub, then secure the adjustable grooming loop. Brush before the bath or after drying.
Set the water
Pick a comfortable pressure on the sprayer. Our water never goes above 98 degrees, so it won't burn your dog.
Lather and rinse
Wet your dog, lather the shampoo all over and rinse it out completely. Repeat with the conditioner.
Dry and finish
Towel off or use the professional dryer, starting on the lowest speed. Finish with brushing and deodorizing spray.
Tips for a calm bath
- A peanut butter lick pad helps food-motivated dogs during washing and drying.
- Bring your dog's favorite treats, or buy one of ours.
- Go slow and work at your dog's pace.
- Happy Hoodies cover the ears to muffle the dryer.
- Keep soap and water out of ears, eyes and nose. Hold the ear closed when rinsing.
- Stay relaxed. Your dog feeds off your energy.
